One of my Wanderers is home :-)
After a boring and quite yukky day (Mr Messy left very early to collect Drama Teen from her CLAPA Camp) me and Little Prince were thrilled by their return. It had taken them Mr Messy all day to get there and back so it was quite late - but there was no way Little Prince would have settled before seeing his daddy and sister, so he stayed up. Perhaps he will sleep later tomorrow?!?! There's always hope!!!
Drama Teen was full of the joys of camp, and was apparently very adventurous - every time they asked for a volunteer she stuck her hand up!! She chattered non stop about camp for almost an hour, Mr Messy was reading Harry Potter (finally we might be able to talk about it!!) as he'd listened to it all in the car on the journey home. She was very excited and we got explanations, hand waving and dramatisations of everything that had gone on. Its great to have her home - I'm thinking of changing her name to Little Miss Enthusiastic - but that's quite a mouthful to type so probably won't (it would suit her though). She is already planning to go on the next CLAPA trip - skiing in Scotland at New Year!
Little Prince insisted that Drama Teen took him to bed, as she had missed so many turns :-) She was delighted, but also quite tired (as was he) so they did argue quite a bit, before she could get him in bed!!
Got an email from Exchange Student's dad - with pictures of Little Miss Sensible and The Boyfriend on their visit to his family. Its lovely to see them, and I was surprised at how much it made me miss them (they've only been gone a few days!!). She's been keeping in pretty good mobile text contact, so at least I know they are having fun and are safe :-) Today they went on a walking tour of Berlin, and she has been complaining about how much her feet ache!! Yesterday they went to a Jewish Memorial.
I've had a quiet evening on the internet - very exciting and heartwarming reading the referral blogs :-) Makes me believe it WILL happen for us one day too. I must be feeling a bit more optimistic as yesterday and today I bought MeiMei an outfit int he sales :-) And I didn't feel strange or guilty - I am buying things for my future daughter and she will arrive one day....
