Will today be better?

Mr Messy has an work meeting later this afternoon, and doesn't have to leave so early, so he was here to take Little Prince to school with me and Little Miss Sensible. Little Prince was very happy about this, he likes all his family to be together :-) About half way to school, he was trying to jump over a stick on his scooter (!!!) and fell off. He scraped his knee and knocked the scab off a nasty owie on his elbow - blood was dripping down his arm!!! Little Miss Sensible had the sensible (grin) idea of getting some tissues from the public toilets, so me and Mr Messy carried on walking to school while LMS got the tissues. Little Prince was feeling quite sorry for himself and needed to be carried for a while. All of this mad us a few minutes late, but it did give us chance to chat with his nursery teacher about yesterday's crying. He apparently told her one reason why he was crying, the other teacher a different reason, and me another different reason!! He sounds confused :-( Anyway she said that he didn't ask for his comfort blankie, but we told her he didn't know he was allowed to ask for it!! She said she would chat to him and let him know he is allowed to get blankie out of his bag whenever he likes. I'm sure that will make Little Prince feel better and be able to cope with the long day more easily. She also said she would ring me mid morning and at lunch time to let me know how he is coping. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that he manages ok.
