Lets all fly...

Leaving politics out of this, and concentrating solely on the fact that minority people the world over can see that the sky's the limit. I've just seen this quoted on one of my forums and it perfectly sums up what I feel.

Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther King could walk
Martin Luther King walked so Obama could run
Obama ran so black children could fly!!

Lets hope all the children get to fly one day :-)

Janet,

Being an American (and a Democrat). I pray that this is true and all is well in four years (or 8 years).

Hi mac,
I don't think change in racial/racist attitudes will change dramatically during Obama's term in office. I do think that he can act as an excellent role model to many black and biracial children and for them they can see the sky's the limit :-)
