Dizzy day!!!

Mr Messy called from work earlier, to let us know he'd probably be late home from work due to a meeting. So once Little Prince had finished watching his Scooby Doo movie, I decided to brave the Supermarket!! Normally I shop online rather than take the kids - but I was feeling brave, or is that stupid???

Little Prince behaved beautifully, he held onto the trolley all the way round the shop and didn't whinge and "Can I have?" too much :-) I'm proud of him, he wouldn't have been able to manage that a few months ago. And it wasn't just a quick whizz round, getting one or two bits - it was the full weekly shop!!! He's a clever little man :-)

We got home, unpacked all the shopping and realised we'd lost some!! I'd only gone and left it at the till - aaaaaaaaargh!!!!! Luckily Mr Messy had made it home on time, so we got the kids their tea and got Little Prince to bed and leaving Drama Teen babysitting, trundled back off to the Supermarket!!! Its a 40 minute round trip!!! I'd rung the Supermarket as soon as I realised and they had my shopping at customer services ready and waiting, which was nice :-)

Once we'd got back, we couldn't face cooking so I had cookies and Mr Messy had toast for dinner!!! Not exactly a gourmet meal but it hit the spot :-)

Got to be up early tomorrow as me, Drama Teen and Little Prince are going with Mr Messy as he has a jobsite to visit, that happens to be right next door to a zoo :-) Hopefully the weather will be lovely and we will have a great time :-) I'll let you know tomorrow.
