Time on my hands!!

I've been meaning to blog this for ages, but have only just got round to it!! Time on my hands is weighing heavy now Little Prince is at school lol!! Anyway someone posted on one of my UK groups that they had the Language Little's doll Ling and two Follow Jade Learn Chinese DVDs, that they didn't need (mix up in the order process and they'd ended up with two lots!!) and did anyone want to buy them. I responded and was lucky enough to be the first to email, and a few days later a package arrived. The doll is lovely, very cute and play with size, whilst also speaking many different Mandarin phrases. Unfortunately I can only keep up with two so far (ni hao and ni hao ma - which is cheating as I knew those already!) but I will keep trying :-) Little Prince watched one of the DVDs with me and seemed quite interested, even repeating a few phrases here and there :-) I'm not saying we will be anywhere near fluent before we travel to China, but we will try our best to learn some phrases so that we can at least say 'hello' 'please' and 'thank you' :-)
